You all need to know that your kids are tired and very happy! We are being used in great ways by the Lord.
We did have a 3 hour church service today, so I guess no more jokes to Pastor Jeff about the length of his sermons! We go like 1 hour and 15 minutes and it seems like people are thinking about being late in the line for lunch at their favorite restaurant...here today, we "ended" the service at least 3 times and then went on for another 20 or 30 minutes...the folks here are very friendly and they love to worship...
Our show tonight was a lot of fun, and it was capped off by R.T.I. (Rusty The Intern) giving the Gospel. I gave him about a 3 hour notice, and he was a bit nervous, but I was very proud of him, and a number of young people and I believe a couple of adults came to Christ, praise God! We gave out many bibles, and the Lord added to his Kingdom today!
One disappointing thing is that our VBS got canceled tomorrow morning, but the bright side is that we get to sleep in...of course, I've still got 2 roosters right outside my room that fight every morning to see which one is gonna roll out of bed first, and their competition started at about 4:30am this morning.
We will have time off tomorrow until lunch, and then at least a 3 hour busride, that I mentioned earlier, and it won't be easy. Please pray for no motion sickness, and great spirits, patience, and attitudes for the entire trip. Although it's our last show, apparently it's going to be our largest because we've been told to expect anywhere from 200-400 people...praise God...not sure who's giving the Gospel, but please pray for the Holy Spirit to do a mighty work.
Oh...almost forgot...last night's show was the first ever "service" of a church plant in the neighborhood we went to...so exciting! Kris Hanson is amazing as an emcee...he ran the whole show, and I'm planning to ask him to do it tomorrow as well.
Everyone except Renee has given a testimony (including Dennis, who went tonight!), and she will give hers tomorrow...she told me today that it will be the very first time she's ever given her testimony! Praise God! Please lift her up as well...
One last thought...this morning, in the church service, I had to grab the bass and improvise with Dietrich and Chris Chapman as the women song leaders led off the service with about 5 songs I've never heard before...I had a cool piece of equipment in front of me though that gave me the notes the guitar was playing, so I was able to pull it off, completely and ONLY by the Grace of God! What a blast...
I talked to Liz and Caleb today, I simply can't wait to spend some time with my family. It's been a long 3+ weeks (including the two summer camps), but I praise God that He has totally blessed me with these students...I wished her a happy birthday, and Caleb did a great job of not only keeping the secret birthday presents we hid together a secret, but of not forgetting to give them to her first thing this morning! That's my boy :)
It's very likely I will not write tomorrow, as the day will be long, and it will be very late when we get back, and then Tuesday we will be at Dunn's River Falls all day...so the next time might just be a phone call from Memphis from your students...
Every one of them is missing you all very much, and can't wait to see you...please pray for a great end to the trip that God has blessed us with so much this far...
May His Grace and Peace guide you and comfort you...as He has us while down here serving Him...

With God, may there be no motion sickness. Be creative on the ride. Make up silly stories, get to know one another on a deeper level, sing and praise God. We know He can pass the time in the blink of an eye. You ALL have our prayers for peace, good health and hearts of a servant. We miss you all so very much but take comfort knowing what good works you are doing for God's kingdom. Love to Kristina. Justin even misses his sister!

We have our suspicions about the identity of the pushy intern. It sounds like a relative of ours.
Our prayers continue to go with you all.

Last night many of your familiess gathered for dinner and we prayed for all of you. We ended the evening around 9:30, celebrating the fact that you would be back with us in 48 hours. We have complete faith that God will bless and use you during the time that remains and give you safe travel home.
We love you all and lift you to the Father. Enjoy your "fun day".
