Went to the beach today...took a nap! Forgot what one of those was like...but it was a nice hour of doing nothing! Most of the students went in and got all wet...Kerrie got to experience the "Washing Machine"...she got knocked over and tumbled a bit by a decent wave :)

A bunch of kids went (tried) to surf, and had a blast in the process...

Have I mentioned how good the food is?! Holy smokes...not gonna go hungry, that's for sure...but I have actually not had one sip of soda since getting here...lots of water and sugar free citrus juice...

Tomorrow is 'Super Spirit Day' with the theme being "Crazy Clunker Cardboard" something or other...

I got to go on stage as part of an object lesson, and Kerrie Churchill was one of about 10 students that got to lift me up in the air while I was sitting on a stool...great lesson about working together to make a difference for Christ by using the "talents" he's given each of us...

then off to recreation...lots of great stuff...with Cole Holland winning the most famouse Hume Lake rec game...Kajabi-Can-Can...pretty much a brute strength effort...last of 16 guys standing...mobbed by his friends like they won the world series...great stuff...hopefully partial vid of it before I go to bed later tonight...

Off to the beach...Dennis will be going with those that signed up for Surfing, I'll be taking the rest to the beach at South Mission...
