The week is going great...please pray for Kristina Strava though...she's not feeling too good, although she's bounced back a bit...I've been to the store once to pick up a prescription and then again this morning to get her some dayquil, and she seems to be bouncing back a bit so that's good...
Okay...onto the rest...
Surfing was yesterday afternoon...lots of fun...here's a sweet picture of Mitch Vogel getting up on one of his first couple of chances...he's a natural water rat...
There was a fun moment when Robert couldnt' get his rashguard off...he was gettin laughed at pretty hard by a couple of locals...
After dinner we had our evening meeting, and the worship was awesome...to see our students worhiping God togther, full out, with no reservations is simply one of the biggest blessing I get to have...I believe it's a small piece of what Heaven will be like, when we get to worship God without a time limit...This is a picture from this morning...
One of the biggest things I personally was blessed with was a "lightbulb" moment from James 2:10...which talks about breaking just one small part of the law making us guilty of breaking all of it (talking about the need to be perfect in God's eyes, which we can't, which is why we need Christ, HE makes us perfect!) It's a story I'll definitely be sharing on August 15th as the youth take over the main services on that morning :) SO BE THERE!
We had a brief time as a church to meet together after chapel, then more free time...
This morning it was "Dawn Patrol" at 7:00am...an optional worship time...then breakfast, counselor meeting and the morning chapel...
From there it was off to Rec, Day 2..."FOUR WAY GAMES, PART I"...and here's some fun pics from that...
We just finished lunch and now it's off to the beach for some body surfing...I love it...
Gonna "Euro-Bungie" tonight...from the looks of this thing it's like pretending to be a "super ball"...remember those little balls you get for a quarter? mad hops yo!
I'll try to post again tonight..maybe even with a rec vid or two...but it'll probably be late...midnightish
peace!
